JOE
McEACHARN, EASTERN LEAGUE PRESIDENT

Joseph McEacharn
became the eleventh president in Eastern League history on January
1, 2003. He
replaced former president, William B. Troubh, who retired from the
position. The 2008 season will be Mr. McEacharn's 12th as a member
of the Eastern League. He originally joined the league in 1997 as
a member of former President Bill Troubh's staff and has spent the
last three seasons as the Vice President of the Eastern League.
Mr. McEacharn
received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts
at Amherst and graduated from the University of Maine School of
Law. He is a member of the Maine and Massachusetts Bar Associations
and currently resides in Scarborough, Maine, with his wife Mary.

BILL
ROSARIO, ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT
The
2008 season will be Bill's seventh with the Eastern League. He orginally
joined the league office as an administrative assistant prior to
the 2002 season. He received his bachelor's degree in Sports Management
from Springfield College and previously worked with the Springfield
Falcons of the American Hockey League as well as in the athletic
department at Springfield College.
BILL TROUBH, EASTERN LEAGUE PRESIDENT (1997 2002)

William B. Troubh
retired as the Eastern League president on December 31, 2002. Mr
Troubh's maine focus following his retirement is to spend more time
practicing law with his firm, Troubh, Heisler & Piampiano, located
in Portland, Maine.
Mr. Troubh took office as the 10th president in the history of the
Eastern League on November 1, 1996 and the league saw a number of
changes under his six years of leadership. He oversaw the opening
of new facilities and worked diligently to create a new atmosphere
around the Eastern League. He also worked behind the scenes to educate
the public and municipal governments about the economic and social
benefits a Minor League team can bring to a city. Mr. Troubh also
implemented a program where money collected from player fines during
the season gets distributed to various charities throughout the
league at the end of the year. During
Mr. Troubh's tenure as president he oversaw the development of a
league-wide marketing program which strengthened the professional
image of the league and was aimed at including the busness community
in efforts to maintain Minor League baseball as affordable family
entertainment.
